Mary Cetan truly helped me to clear up a perplexing breathing issue. It began with a simple cold that had been exacerbated by a vacuums dust holder exploding in my face. I was left with a miserable cough. What was worse was my sudden wheezing and inability to breathe easily during my usual gym routine. I have been an exerciser most of my adult life and never had issues up to now. I was depressed with just not having enough breath to perform in ways as I had in the past. The medical doctors suggested that I had exercise-induced asthma even though my breath test was clear. Nevertheless, I was sent home with different levels of inhalers, the perfunctory pat on the back and told that I had a common ailment. I would not buy and decided to see out homeopathic treatment with Mary Cetan who proceeded to listen to my medical history. She knew what to do after checking my body pulses and reading the the health of my tongue it. Without going into greater detail, Mary treated me both with acupuncture and a wonderful homeopathic remedy to heal my lung after the assault upon them by the cold and then the vacuum disaster. I did not heal over night, but with vigilance and determination, I continued to see Doctor Cetan. It is now almost two years later - not a cold, not a wheeze, not a cough and longer, deeper breaths at my usual two-hour gym workout. The next time I get a cold, I am heading in the direction of the Natural Health Center where I know I will find the truth to my condition and not a physician giving me drugs which I never took and obviously did not need and were, to my way of thinking, far more dangerous than my illness. After 2 car accidents, I had pain on a scale of 1-10, at 9 to 10, at all times, day or night. At this point, it had been several years since the accidents and I had been in bed (bedridden) for 5 - 7 weeks at a time. I called Ms. Mary and found she had the expertise to rid me of being "bedridden", for 7 years now! Would not change a thing if she can keep me moving and playing with my children! Allergies are annoying -- one sneezes constantly, the nose is a steady dripping faucet and the eyes-is she crying? Each winter for 6 weeks, this was me. I took every allergy medicine that I could find-prescription and over the counter. I took these drugs several times a day, overlapping and still, I was miserable-winter-Florida-I wanted to be ANYWHERE else. Then someone asked if I had ever tried acupuncture. I thought I had exhausted all avenues, even 2 rounds of testing with allergy shots. I did not see how acupuncture could help but then, neither did anything else so I decided to give it a try. I had tried everything I heard about to get relief from the severe hot flashes from which I suffered for 20 years. After my sister had such good results with acupuncture for her allergies, I decided to give it a try though I didn't have a lot of hope. Lo and behold, even though I was not able to take the herbs, my hot flashes have been reduced by about 70% and those I do have are much less intense.
Suddenly I also found myself feeling much more relaxed, less stressed, and finding that dealing with many troubling things became much easier. It also become noticeable to my family and friends that I was much calmer. Mary has helped me greatly in many facets of my life, and I am so grateful.

Back in August of 2004 I was told I had an underactive thyroid and I was sent home with western drugs. I didn't take them. I had blood work done in January of 2006 and my thyroid is working fine now. I only did acupuncture. In March of 2005, I had a very bad flu with 104 degree fever. I also developed bronchitis asthma with it. My allergist gave me antibiotics and steroids. I didn't take them. I had one acupuncture treatment and the wheezing left within a day and a half. | |||
